Refund Policy

1. Milestone-Based Protection

To ensure fairness and avoid disputes, all custom software development contracts with Anas Lakhani are structured into fixed milestones. You only release payment for completed deliverables after you have tested, reviewed, and accepted the milestone.

2. Discovery Phase Guarantee

If an initial project begins with a dedicated technical discovery or wireframing milestone and the Client chooses not to proceed with engineering implementation before code development begins, any unspent advance funds for future development phases are refunded in full.

3. Work-In-Progress & Project Cancellation

Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. In the event of early cancellation:

• Completed and approved milestones are non-refundable, as work has already been delivered, accepted, and transferred to the Client.
• For in-progress sprints, fees will be calculated prorated against work completed up to the date of cancellation notice, and any remaining balance will be refunded.
• All code, Git branches, and design assets completed up to the cancellation date will be handed over to the Client upon account settlement.

4. Defect Correction & Quality Guarantee

If a deliverable does not satisfy the technical specifications agreed in the Statement of Work, we will revise and remediate the work at no additional fee until it matches the specification. We do not stop until the deliverable functions as promised.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days using the original method of payment (international bank transfer or Stripe refund).
